Jason & Melissa - Amazing Autumn - Merritt, BC Wedding

The truth is, as we drove over the Connector on our way to Merritt for Jason & Jaime's wedding day, I was stressing out quite a bit...trying to think positive when Brad & I were driving through thick fog and torrential downpour of rain was very difficult, to say the least.  I knew we would do our magic rain or shine, but the weather forecast called for rain, all day, and with an outdoor ceremony and about 3 hours of wedding party and couple photos scheduled outdoors, I was pouting quite a bit.  To our surprise, however, we lucked out with beautiful overcast skies and NO RAIN...all day!!!

We started off with a few getting ready photos...Melissa looked amazing, even before her wedding dress went on, so you can imagine the WOW, when she was all dolled up in her gorgeous, vintage style gown.  All of the details Melissa had picked out were fabulous...from her shoes, to the Vancouver Canucks garder, to the flower girl's chocolate brown skirts!

It was such a beautiful ceremony at Merritt Centennial Park.  We did a few family photos at the park after the ceremony before heading off to the amazing Quilchena Ranch.  It was our first time at this historic ranch resort, and it proved to be an amazing location for photos.  We are so excited about these photos...it was such a great day.  Jason and Melissa were absolutely perfect, their son, Blake, was so adorable, and the wedding party was absolutely amazing.  We are so proud to have been a part of your special day...and thank you for being so awesome!
